New Site and a New York Sour

Hacker at a computer with two monitors

Didn't have much going on this weekend, so gave this personal site a shot. It's crazy how easy modern frameworks like Next.js make this.

Not sure what I'll post here, if anything. I'm not a great writer, so it will definitely not be eloquent political takes or anything like that. I like cocktails, so maybe I'll dump some recipes here.

There's no time like the present, so I'll leave you with one of my personal favorites.

New York Sour

  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 3/4 oz lemon juice
  • 3/4 oz simple syrup
  • 1/2-1oz red wine

Shake the bourbon, lemon, and simple with ice and strain over one large cube in an old fashioned glass. Gently pour red wine over the large cube. If done correctly, you will have a distinct red layer on top.
